Played by J.E. Freeman, Old Fred was an old man who drove the freight wagon in Rejection.
Background
He was a usual friend of the Rejection residents and was close to Juan Pedilla. He drove the freight wagon.
1889 Graboid Incident And Death
He was killed by a Graboid and his head was discovered under his wrecked wagon by Hiram Gummer, Juan Pedilla, and Black Hand Kelly. His existence and death by Graboid in the fourth film is a comical reference to the first film. He may or may not be related to that Old Fred. Juan Pedilla mentioned in his eulogy that Old Fred had bad breath, then added that he didn't want to say that.
