Graboid Rights is the tenth episode Tremors: The Series. Animal rights activists arrive in Perfection to force the townspeople to leave, thinking they are harming El Blanco.
Plot[]
Animal rights activists (including Nancy's daughter, Mindy) arrive in Perfection to force the townspeople to leave, thinking they are harming El Blanco by being there. Meanwhile, El Blanco starts going mad for some unknown reason. It is ultimately revealed that one of the activists was poisoning him to prove her story, but El Blanco accidentally swallows a fatal dose and beaches himself in town to die. Burt and Dr. Ellie Bergen manage to create an antidote and El Blanco is saved by Mindy who tosses it into his mouth with her softball skills. With El Blanco saved, the activists leave town and Mindy returns to college.
Trivia[]
- Burt shows a surprising amount of self-control by not taking out a gun and trying to scare the protestors into leaving.
- The protestors camped out on Tyler's van didn't need to stay on it longer than a day, as the tour was put on hold-.
- Ray really never cared about any of the endangered species he protested to save; he only cared about the publicity it would earn him and his organization. (In short, he is willing to falsify proof he needs to make his point that animals are being endangered.)
